Our chocolate is in high demand, and we don't craft a lot of it (that's the small batch part), so we often sell out, or there's a bit of a wait. We love every aspect of what we do--from roasting in 25# batches, to designing + cutting our wrappers, and pressing the cocoa butter we use in our bars; it's why we're #notafactory. We try our best to ship your order within 5 days, and we appreciate your patience (and understand how exciting a chocolate delivery can be). If you need to receive your order by a certain day (say, before that big road trip or for Somebody's Birthday) email us and let us know.

Chocolate is sensitive to temperature, especially heat. It is important to us that our chocolate arrives to you just as beautiful as it was when it left our workshop, and with minimal shipping/traveling time. We ship most items via USPS 2-3 day priority. We find it to be dependable, and often the most economical option. If you need a chocolate fix like, now, then overnight express is the fastest option.

Warm weather shipping alert! here in (sunny) Oregon we've already had temps in the 100s. We ship with extra insulation and coldpacks, but please make sure someone is able to receive your chocolate when it id delivered. our warm weather shipping days are Mon-Wed (Wed only if 2-day priority); we don't ship Thurs or Fri.

We want you to be as pleased with our chocolate as we are in crafting it for you.

If something goes wrong (and, despite our best efforts we understand this might happen sooner or later) we want to make it right. Please email within 5 days of receiving your chocolate, and let us know what went wrong. Save the wrappers, take photos, and please get in touch.

During warm weather if you have any doubts about receiving your package when it arrives, we highly recommend choosing overnight express. If it's a super heat wave we may choose to hold orders, and we will email to let you know.
