Chocolate is sensitive to temperature, especially heat. It is important to us that our chocolate arrives to you just as beautiful as it was when it left our workshop, and with minimal shipping/traveling time. We ship most items via USPS 2-3 day priority, unless you choose our padded envelope for 1-2 bars, which ships USPS first class. 

We find USPS priority to be dependable, and often the most economical option, but once your order has left our hands it's out of our control and we can't guarantee an exact arrival date. If you need a chocolate fix like, now, then overnight express is the fastest option.

Warm weather shipping We ship with extra insulation and coldpacks. Please make sure someone is able to receive your chocolate when it is delivered, and that it's not left outside in the sun/heat. our warm weather shipping days are Mondays + Tuesdays only in an attempt to avoid having your chocolate sitting over the weekend in a warm Post Office!

what the #@%**#! happened: we ship to the exact address entered at checkout, so please make sure it is correct.

 We want you to be as pleased with our chocolate as we are in crafting it for you.

If something goes wrong on our end (and, despite our best efforts we understand this might happen sooner or later) we want to make it right. Please email within 24 hours of receiving your chocolate, and include photos. We will either refund your chocolate or replace your bars when the weather is cooler.

For shipping issues, including non-delivery, the neighbor’s cat dragged it off your front porch, etc etc, please understand that we do not offer refunds for events that were out of our control.

During warm weather if you have any doubts about receiving your package when it arrives, we highly recommend choosing overnight express. If it's a super heat wave we may choose to hold orders, and we will email to let you know.
